Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
My Dart Hire of medium weighted silicon tip darts is soon to come to an end due to some personal reasons. To cover for the disappearance of Dart Hire, I will start making darts to order. These darts will be identical to the Dart Hire darts in every way, except they will feature the original black silicon tips (Unless we can agree on a custom colour that isn't identical to Kat's blue heavies).
________________________________________________________________________________________
NOTE: I am not yet ready to commence sales of darts, this update is just an indication of the prices that I'll be charging. Any PM's that I receive as an order for darts will be ignored and deleted until further notice.
Here are the prices for the medium weighted silicon tip darts. These are the prices that I'll be charging, unless you're ordering large quantities (in which case, we'll converse via PM). Darts are sold in intervals of 100.
Regular Members
$23 per 100 darts
This might seem pricey, but attend wars or post a few mods to the forum and you'll find they get a bit cheaper
War attendees and Modification Gurus
$20 per 100 darts
This is the recognised rate around Australia. Inf0rm3r (Australia's supplier of blue foam etc.) sells his darts at this price, though they are not the medium weight that makes my darts so versatile and he must ship to you from Queensland. If you still think this is fairly expensive, contribute more to the forums and you'll find darts become even cheaper
War Veterans
$18 per 100 darts
War Veterans receive the lowest rate on quality premade Silicon Tip Blue Foam darts in Australia.
Remember, the darts being sold are Medium Weighted Silicon Tips in Blue Foam. They have been the driving force of the Sydney Wars for some time now. I cut each silicon tip to make the darts lighter. This creates an ideal weight distribution for medium to high powered blasters (especially springers), offering the best results from stock dart sized silicon tip darts. They are made from a superglue that has tested well throughout the wars (I still have darts in my box from my first batch using this glue). Any that have broken in the past were due to poor technique in making darts, and of course, people not being all too responsible with what they shot at.
Stefans break inevitably so please, take care with them if you want them to last.
Do not use them in an unsafe way that could lead to harm to yourself or those around you. Always wear eye protection while using stefans of any sort.

Re: Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
Your darts are the bread and butter of Sydney wars.. Though I'm saddened by the loss of dart hire. I'm pleased to no end, that you will be our main source of blue foamy goodness
Now would be a good time to relate back to our other thread "Dart Markings" (Link- Dart Markings). As you will all be responsible for distinguishing your darts, from each others. Any unmarked darts become lost to the "Unmarked Pool", to save disputes between multiple cases of Unmarked Darts amongst members.
Permanent markers are available, upon request from Psychosis. So please make sure your darts are marked, or prepare to lose them.

Re: Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
Do note, any darts made by me will come marked by me, included in the price, unless of course you want to mark them yourself

Hey if the unmarked pool gets big enough, maybe we could start up dart hire again!

Rofl, I love how you appeal to our 'inner jews' by giving those who attend wars more reasonable prices
In all seriousness, I think it's a great idea to get more attendance at local wars.

In retrospect.. The more people attend wars, the greater chance they'll need additional dart topups..
A brilliant idea grouping prices Echoes, you're a foam smithery genius
Re: Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
Hey guys, we're coming to the end of my stash of dart hire darts, so I'm going to ask now so I have enough for you all:
How many darts would you be willing to buy on your first hit? Please make sure its a serious offer because I need to get in the stock.
NOTE: When I say end of my stash I mean I've finished making most of the darts and once these lot break, that's it. There's probably about 2.5k-3k left. I'm just giving you all fair warning.

Re: Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
I can only take one hundred at the moment bit tight on cash but that will last me a few wars.
If I come on February 4th can I pick them up and use them then or are you still doing dart hire that war?

Re: Sydney's Dart Smithing Service
I'll probably take close to 1000 to outfit the BFF, (maybe even more, only have 200 usable heavies at home at the current time). With two of us using full auto all the time, they wont last that long!

Okay guys, now it's imperative for you to tell me how many darts you want for when my dart hire ends. I'm about to make an order so let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
