Strongarm general modification
Insert good intro here
LETS GET INTO IT
First, we're going to need to open this up, so unscrew your blaster and well.. open it up!
Now don't be like me and become very afraid of the internals, here is an internal pic
First, we're going to deal with the dart pegs, it's quite simple. All you need to do is get your turret and cut them out, simple enough eh?
Take out the internals, you need to take out the trigger first
We're going to deal with those AR's. Unscrew the two screws that hold everything together and you can slide the plunger tube out if you don't want to disassemble everything but if you do, go to town on it!
Just a view of the inside, now what you want to do is to get a screw driver and a hammer and "knock out the posts that hold the AR in place
and now you're pretty much done
To improve the seal on the plunger head, just take the oring off and lay down some Teflon tape on the plunger head and put the oring back.
Now we assemble everything back together and now we've got a somewhat better strongarm!
NOTE!!!
The plastic on the plunger rod broke on me when i put in an upgrade spring, SO GUYS, BE CAUTIOUS WHEN USING AN UPGRADE SPRING.
Ranges now of about 40 - 50ft Parallel to the ground (damned hasbro and their range lies!)
