Sydney Nerf War - Carysfield Park, Bass Hill - Saturday, 14th July "The Weekend of Warring pt 1"

For the first day of Sydney's Weekend of Warring, we return to the style of Nerf that brought us to where we are today. With the second day being dominated by mostly Foam Fortress: Sydney, it's only right we just play a metric crap-tonne of Epeen to balance things out. So lock and load guys. I know you've been waiting for this for a long time.

When: Saturday, 14th July.

Where: Carysfield Park

Navigate yourself to 25 Johnston Road, Bass Hill. You'll see a large car park. Park in there somewhere and you're pretty much right outside the war location

Schedule:
9:00-9:15am Briefing
9:15am-12:30pm Nerf
12:30-1:15pm Lunch Break
1:15-3:45pm Nerf
3:45-4pm Dart pick up and other housekeeping

Food:
There are a few takeaway joints just up the across the road from the war location. Bring some cash to feed yourself. Also bring a lot of water. While it may be winter, you'll still get mega thirsty.

Dart Hire
Details for Dart Hire are as follows:

• Cost of dart hire for this war is $10.
  
• There are two types of darts: Medium weighted blue foam silicon tip darts (stock sized) and Heavy weighted white foam silicon tip darts (shorter stefans)
  
• Paying $10 will get you access to the boxes full of darts at the beginning of the round, and allow you load up your magazines/ammo pouches at the beginning of each round.
  
• Darts that belong to Dart Hire will either be marked with SFW, or have a distinctive and unique Blue silicon tip. If you are caught with any of these two darts, they will be taken away from you
  
• All participants must participate in a dart pick up, even if they have not elected to hire the darts. This is so that more nerf can be played
  
• Please take care of these darts. By take care of, I mean don’t fire them directly at solid surfaces with your massive blasters.
  
  
• At this particular war, you may find some darts with red silicon tips which are slightly shorter than the standard blue ones. These are to cover recent shortages in darts. Please, do not use these darts in flywheel blaster because they WILL NOT WORK.
